Clara was born from the experience and passion of Andrea Plafoni, historical company specialized in onions, garlic and shallots.
For over 60 years Andrea Plafoni has been supplying supermarkets, grocery stores, restaurants. Our long experience, extensive knowledge of the product and the wish to improve continuously led us to become one of the major companies of reference in the sector, both in Italy and abroad. Through our R&D department, we work to meet the needs of the most demanding consumers who care about healthy and sustainable agriculture.
La Carta dei Valori Andrea Plafoni The entire action of the company is inspired by the Charter of Values, a vademecum that contains the guidelines for everything that concerns our activity: from the choice of cultivation land to the point of sale, to ensure compliance with the quality objectives and values that guide us every day, transferring them to the entire production chain. Onions, garlic and shallots come from selected lands, identified with the logic of the “best place”: the perfect place for climatic and natural conditions, in order to guarantee healthy, disease-free and intact products. We activate real food projects with selected and certified Global Gap and Grasp growers.
